Homefront Update Status

The Homefront Team has been working around the clock identifying and fixing issues surrounding Multiplayer functionality. We want to give everyone an update on what issues are known, how we are working on them, and when you can expect to see fixes available for download.
Important Notes:
- Xbox 360: The Homefront team is finishing up our first Critical Title Update that will address the Profile Corruption issue (also known as the ‘Freeze’ bug), as this is our highest priority. We are also including a fix for multiplayer connectivity and ping time issues, where players are being sent to distant server locations at the expense of performance. We expect this update to be submitted to Microsoft really soon and we will be working with them very closely to get this approved and deployed as quickly as possible.
- PlayStation 3: We are also working on several multiplayer connectivity and freeze issues on this platform as well. Many Homefront issues occur equally across all consoles but the PlayStation 3 Comprehensive Patch will be sent to SONY as soon as the issues are resolved.
- PC: The PC patching process is a much more “real-time” situation, given they do not need to go through any kind of certification process and fixes are being made and delivered as soon as they are resolved.
Homefront Update Plans
1. Update 1: Xbox 360 Critical Title Update
- Scheduled for Microsoft Submission ASAP
- Fixing the Xbox Live Profile Corruption ‘Freeze’ Issue
- Fix for players being matched in distant server locations
2. Update 2: Additional Game Issues Fixes
- Playstation 3 Update will release as soon as fixes are ready.
- Xbox 360 will submit as soon as Update 1 is released live.
- Fixes include:
o Multiplayer Freezing (affecting X360 & PS3)
o Experience and Statistics Resets (affecting X360 & PS3)
o Improving Party Matchmaking & Joining with Friends (affecting X360 & PS3)
o Fixing the Beacon Error (affecting X360 only)
o Correcting inconsistent Leaderboards data (affecting X360 & PS3)

Ok, so we have 4 xboxes and 3 copies of this game. We love this game. But I just got to 66 and the damned thing reset my level to 1 about 10 mins ago and now I'm upset. It happened to my hubby last week. All that game time and I have to start from scratch? Tell me you're fixing this soon and we'll get our levels back??? So not happy right now. Games released too early are expected to be buggy, but this is serious to a lot of people who love this game. Hubby won't play anymore because of the XP, level reset.

Homefront is the best online battle yet 2nd to none so will stick with it and hope the patch does the trick.
is the dedicated server thing for xbox or just pc???
also fix the party up, lag isues with xbox plz come on, i wanna play it its such a good game but the lag lets it down so much!!!!!!!!!!
ps3 update has been submitted I hope it works and takes my level back to 45.
When is the new update comming out its been almost 2 weeks since this was posted. My Homefront game still keeps freezing i can't party up with any friends it tells connection lost. This is turning into blackops w/ all the host migration and connection error bs. I'm really cosidering trading this game for Crysis 2.

I really liked the game but unless my original rank is restored I will be trading it in!
the last 3 nites i been playin in aussie dedicated servers, found them quick, good connection. it was so awesome thank god i didnt trade it in i almost did, very fun game and u are working hard to fix the rest of the problems, thanx thq and kaos :)
arrrrr thank you for the insults kid and come on new and original the thing with the internet is that you don’t know who your talking to for example I could be replying to some 50 year old who likes little kids. do you really know me? So say what you want but like you said come up with something new and hell I just find insults ironic. Now are you sure you want to continue and most likely get your words twisted round on you or not
the best action to take is to sell the game, dont waste your time wating for an update that will take months if not longer to produce. Remember if you use a PS3 system it will take WAY longer to get any update because well PS3 gets everything last. And THQ has no plans on making any "speedy" updates for PS3 so sell the game. HEY THQ YOU FAILED AS A GAME DEVELOPER, Homefront is your walk to shame as you people failed to fix your servers on DAY ONE! fail fail fail fail fail fail fail fail YOU FAIL!
